JohnMoris Ventures Ltd is committed to a Zero-Harm approach and to strict adherence to Uganda’s Occupational Safety and Health Act and applicable workplace safety requirements, with project-specific controls designed to protect our workforce, clients and the public.
Our approach combines hazard identification, risk assessment, supervision, safe access, appropriate PPE, toolbox meetings, inspections, emergency procedures and corrective action where necessary.

Workplace Safety
Site rules, supervision, safe access and task-specific controls aligned with Uganda’s Occupational Safety and Health Act and applicable workplace safety requirements.

Risk Management
Hazard identification, risk assessment and practical mitigation measures before and during execution.

Environmental Stewardship
Alignment with applicable National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) guidance, sustainable construction practices and responsible waste management.

Quality Assurance
Rigorous checks, technical verification and controlled acceptance of work against approved requirements and applicable Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) requirements.

Routine inspection of work areas, access systems, housekeeping, workmanship and project controls.

Appropriate PPE and regular communication of task hazards, controls and safe work expectations.

Scaffolding, access, work areas, materials, lifting or concrete operations all require controls appropriate to the task.
Our QHSE commitments are applied through controls appropriate to each project scope, risk profile and contractual requirement. Project-specific certifications and approvals are presented only where formally verified.
